Meredith Blair Pearlman is the Program Director, having joined the organization in the inaugural position in 2025. In this role, she leads the program team in the implementation of the Foundation’s integrated programmatic work, encompassing both the Environment + Climate and San Francisco initiatives. 

Throughout her career, Meredith has worked at the intersection of strategy and learning, building systems to support organizational effectiveness and continuous improvement. She has extensive experience in strategy development and the design of internal and external reporting, monitoring, and evaluation processes to foster organizational learning.

Meredith previously served 12 years at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, most recently as the Director of Evaluation and Learning, where she shaped the Foundation’s strategic direction in measurement and learning and facilitated collaboration across its diverse program areas. Prior to that, Meredith led evaluation and learning efforts at Humanity United. She began her career in international development and assessment in the Peace Corps in Ghana, West Africa.

Meredith serves on the Steering Committee of the Center for Community and Nonprofit Studies (CommNS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Human Ecology. 

She holds an M.A. in public administration from the University of Washington’s Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
