Mosaic

Mosaic’s mission is to accelerate population-scale wins on climate, conservation, and environmental health and justice by supporting the field-wide connectivity and tools needed to build a bigger, more inclusive, and more effective environmental field. As a grant maker and field catalyst, Mosaic provides the types of support leaders have identified as critical for success: communications, opportunities for connection and trust, leadership development, and advocacy tools and training. To date, Mosaic has invested approximately $30 million in these shared tools, benefitting thousands of organizations.

RethinkOutside

Rethink Outside™ is a communications initiative coordinated by Blue Sky Funders Forum, highlighting the transformative benefits of time spent outside. Through message-tested communications, storytelling, and research, Rethink Outside™ equips diverse funders, practitioners, and advocates with tools to shift perceptions of the outdoors from a “nice-to-have” to a necessity that improves health and wellness.

Launched in 2019 with insights from more than 700 people, Rethink Outside emphasizes how meaningful outdoor experiences improve quality of life, health, and social well-being.

Spanning sectors like education, health, and urban planning, Rethink Outside fosters collaboration across disciplines, inspiring innovative solutions that communicate how nature is a cornerstone for thriving, healthier communities.
