Grantee Spotlights

Mosaic

Mosaic’s mission is to accelerate population-scale wins on climate, conservation, and environmental health and justice by supporting the field-wide connectivity and tools needed to build a bigger, more inclusive, and more powerful environmental movement. As a grantmaker and field catalyst, Mosaic supports four types of movement infrastructure leaders have identified as critical for success: narrative, connection and trust, leadership, and advocacy tools and training. To date, Mosaic has invested approximately  $30 million in networks, shared tools, and other resources, reaching 5,700 organizations.

RethinkOutside

Rethink Outside™ is a shared narrative initiative coordinated by Blue Sky Funders Forum, highlighting the transformative benefits of time spent outside. Through message-tested communications, storytelling, and research, the shared narrative equips diverse funders, practitioners, and advocates with tools to shift perceptions of the outdoors from a “nice-to-have” to a necessity.

Launched in 2019 with insights from more than 700 people, Rethink Outside emphasizes how meaningful outdoor experiences improve quality of life, health, and social well-being.

Spanning sectors like education, health, and urban planning, Rethink Outside fosters collaboration across disciplines, inspiring innovative solutions that position nature as a cornerstone for thriving, healthier communities.
