Emily Bourgeois
Environmental Fellow

Emily Bourgeois is an Environmental Fellow at the Pisces Foundation, supporting the Environmental Education and Climate programs and researching projects to support the development of new philanthropic initiatives.

Emily’s professional experiences span wildfire resiliency, forest policy, environmental health, and water protection for environmental non-profits and agencies. Her previous roles included community organizing and government relations work promoting reproductive justice with Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan and serving as a Policy Intern with The Nature Conservancy. 

Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Relations and Policy and a Bachelor of Science in the History, Philosophy, and Sociology of Science from Michigan State University. Outside of work, Emily enjoys taking long walks, reading science fiction, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with her friends and family. Emily hopes to advocate both personally and professionally for positive change toward happier, healthier, and more equitable communities.
