Lauren is the grants manager at the Pisces Foundation. In this role, she leads our grantmaking operations, systems, data, and workflow to enhance the Foundation’s overall impact.

Lauren has extensive experience in the philanthropic sector and with grantmaking and grantee relations. She most recently served as a donor services officer at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF), where she led the grant administration team focused on individual and family giving. Previously, Lauren was a donor services associate for SVCF. Lauren has also participated in a fellowship with the Forest Foundation designed for emerging social sector leaders and a research fellowship at the University of Chicago.

Lauren holds a B.A. from Tufts University in international relations and French with a minor in food systems. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and experimenting in the kitchen. Lauren volunteers at Alemany Farm, an urban farm and community garden in San Francisco.
